Mary Rebecca (Templin) Stevens, 89, Robeson Township, died Oct. 6, 2010, in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, where she was a patient since Sept. 29. She died of natural causes.
She was the widow of the late Roy Harold Stevens Sr., who passed away on March 11, 2010.
She was born in Gibraltar, a daughter of the late Sarah (Dice) Templin and the late Ralph Templin.
Mary had been employed as a layout operator for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies for 30 years before retiring in 1985.
She was a member of St. John's UCC, Gibraltar.
Survivors include her sons, James R., husband of Angela Stevens, Mount Penn, and Roy H. Stevens Jr., husband of Eloise Stevens, Birdsboro; brother, George, husband of Mary Templin, Birdsboro; seven grandchildren: Marsha, Amanda, Roy, Karisa, Colleen, William and Bridget; and five great-grandchildren: Alex, Nolan, Gavin, Addis and Zoe.
She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Templin, and a sister, Esther Hafer.
Funeral services will be held at the Dengler Funeral Home Inc., 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
