Fred B. Stevens, 69, died at his home, 9600 W. River Valley Road, Yorktown, the victim of a hit-and-run motor vehicle/pedestrian accident.
Mr. Stevens was a member of the American Legion Post 821 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 231. He was retired from Warner Gear.
Surviving are two sons, Fred A. Stevens and Danny S. Stevens; a daughter, Sandra Mallerbi (husband-Guy); a sister, Ann Anderson; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma, in 1980.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
