Eliza Ann (Campbell) Anderson Stevens lived her entire life in Lane Co. She was the daughter of Robert Ewing Campbell and his wife Elizabeth Ruth Campbell. Eliza Ann married John Caswell Anderson on 1 September 1869 and was the mother of 10 children (Glen George Anderson, Elizabeth Ruth Anderson, Frank Ewing Anderson, Harvey Levi Anderson, Hubert Henry Anderson, Frances Leone Anderson, Zorabell Anderson, Zedaven Anderson, William Herse Anderson and Claude Ivan Anderson.

After the death of her first husband on 05 Oct 1905, Eliza Ann (Campbell) Anderson was remarried to widower Isaac E. Stevens on 19 Sept 1907 in Lane County, Oregon. She is buried next to her first husband but her tombstone reflects both of her married names. ~~~~

MRS. ELIZABETH ANDERSON STEVENS

Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson Stevens, native of Lane county, died at her home at 734 D street, Springfield, Tuesday, at the age of 79 years.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Springfield, July 13, 1853, the daughter of Robert E. Campbell, pioneer resident of this section. She had lived all her life in Lane County. She was married to J.C. Anderson in 1869. He died in 1905. She later married I.E. Stevens, who died in 1923.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by six sons, Glen G. Anderson of Coburg, Frank E. Anderson, Burns, Ore., H.L. Anderson, roseburg, H.H. Anderson, La Grande, Ore., W.H. Anderson, and C.D. Anderson, both of Eugene; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Day of Eugene and Mrs. Carl A. Wyman of Springfield; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two half-brothers, George E. Campbell of Portland and E.E. Campbell of Chehalis, Wash. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Funeral services are to be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Veatch chapel, Rev. Henry W. (End of article).
