Choon Junko Stetson, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Junko was ill since the fall of 2006 and severely disabled since June of 2007.
Junko was born in Ube, Japan on April 3, 1941 and a resident of Albuquerque, NM since early 1960s.
Junko was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar David Stetson, her granddaughter, and her only daughter, Judy Wright of Albuquerque, NM.
Junko is survived by a grandson, Russell Zachary and friend and principal caregiver, Vyrl Freouf, both of Albuquerque, NM.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May24, 2008 at the Olive Tree Messianic Church, 476 57th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM. Service conducted by Dr. Denis Otero. Junko will be interred with her husband, Edgar at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
