Rebecca N Stetson Bartholomew was the first wife of Samuel Hinds Bartholomew with whom she had one daughter, Rebecca Nelson, born in 1915, a year after she and Samuel married. He later remarried and is buried in Williamstown, NJ Presbyterian Cementery. She was a beutiful woman. Her daughter missed her very much. Rebecca died in an epidemic in the early 20th century which almost claimed her daughter too. Her daughter did die, when she was 69 from residual effects from that illness.
