In 1904, the Bunkers came to Douglas and lived on the Bunker ranch in the LaBonte area, a sheep ranch operated by Gibson Livestock Company. Mr. Bunker was related to the Gibson family. Mr. Bunker died in 1949. They had no children.
Mrs. Bunker was active in the Congregational Church for many years, singing in the choir and with active membership in the Ladies' Circle. She was also a member of the Afternoon Card Club.
She was survived by a niece, Dorothy Stearns of Newton, Massachusetts; and a nephew, Lewis Moss of Hartford, Connecticut.

Mrs. Frank Bunker has received word of the death of her mother, Mrs. Frank Stearns, at her home in Boston last Saturday night. She passed away on her 90th birthday anniversary. Funeral services and burial were held Tuesday afternoon.
She is survived by three daughters and one son.
Mrs. Stearns was known by a number of Douglas people who had called on her while on visits to Boston.
