Mrs. Mary Louise Baublitz, 76, widow of John Baublitz, who resided at the home of her son John E. Baublitz, 330 E. Hanover St., died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, in the convalescent home, New Oxford, where she had been admitted as a patient Nov. 15. Mrs. Baublitz had suffered a broken hip in a fall on Sept. 26.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Eleanora (Houck) Sterner. Her husband died in 1926.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters; Mrs. Curtis H. Shorb, of Hanover; Mrs. Newton G. Baublitz, of York; John E. Baublitz, with whom she made her home; and Mrs. Hugh E. Yost, of Landsdowne; eight granchildren; seven great-grandchilren; two brothers; Milton S. Sterner, of Hanover; and Curvin A. Sterner, of Hanover; and three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Garrett, Mrs. William Mummert and Mrs. Ira Shue, all of Hanover.

Funeral services Monday at 2 p.m. at the Frederick Bucher Funeral Home, Hanover. Her pastor, the Rev. A. M. Hollinger, will officiate. Interment in the family plot at St. David's (Sherman's) Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening at the funeral home.
