Her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006, at Mount Carbon Christian Church with the Rev. Donald Grammer officiating.
Pettett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for an educational fund established for Elizabeth's children in care of Sandy Grammer.
Liz was born on Sept. 5, 1963, in Murphysboro, to Ken Stephenson and Sandy (Wyatt) Stephenson.
Mrs. Brown was the night supervisor for health information at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
She was a member of the 700 Club.
Liz loved her children, family and friends. She especially liked to ride her Harley and go camping. She was a happy and fun-loving soul who made everyone smile.
She is survived by her three children, Leah Gunn and her husband Eric Gunn of Carbondale, Kyle Patterson of Murphysboro, and Jennifer Brown of Yukon, Okla.; her parents, Sandy, and the Rev. Don Grammer of Murphysboro and Ken and Pat Stephenson of Murphysboro; two brothers, Joey Stephenson, and John Stephenson and his fiancée Robi Wilson, all of Ava; one step sister and brother-in-law Karen and James Price of Murphysboro; four step brothers, Kevin and Daisy Grammer of Murphysboro, Paul and Linda Grammer of Albuquerque, N.M., Keith and Shelia Stokes and Scott and Becky Stokes, all of Murphysboro.
She was preceded in death by a very close friend Angie Lindsey.
