Obituary provided by Mary Ann Lee: Mrs. Lorese M. Stephenson, 76, of 515 Ellsworth, widow of W.B. Stephenson, died Monday at Care Inn. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She leaves a son, Franklin Stephenson of Memphis; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Splann and Mrs. L.W. Steward, both of Memphis, Mrs. Lee Holley of Atlanta, Mrs. Van Hill of Dyersburg, Tenn. and Mrs. Foster Hamilton of Fort Smith, Ark.; three brothers, K.K. McKain, J.E. McKain, and S.E. McKain, all of Memphis and two grandsons. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 9/20/1972)
