Obituary, Ahlstrom--
Albertina Christina Sophia, daughter of John August an Katrina Sandberg Stone, was born in Hjalmsaryd, Smoland Sweden on March 25, 1873 and passed away Nov 1, 1956 at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 7 days at Imperial, Nebr.

She received her schooling and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Sweden. She was a life long member of the Lutheran Church belonging to the church at Edgar, transferring to Gethsemane Church in Ong when the congregation moved there in 1922 and then transferring back to Edgar when the St. James congregation was established here in 1953.

At the age of 14 she came to Sutton, Nebr.; and made her home with an aunt and uncle. On April 7, 1892 she was married to Alexander T. Ahlstrom. To this union eight children were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband in October, 1930 and three sons Carl Albert, who died in infancy and Clarence T. and Milford W. in 1945.

She is survived by one son, Elmer E. of Edgar, four daughters, Mrs. Edna Nelson of Edgar, Mrs. Hildur Swanson and Mrs. Effie Slonecker of Burlington, Wash., Mrs. Ruth Mikkelsen of Imperial, Nebr.; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Wiberg of Scottsbluff, Nebr.; two half sisters, Augusta and Alma and a half brother, Johan of Sweden; fifteen grandchildren and a host of friends

Services were held Nov 5 at St. James Lutheran Church in Edgar with Rev. Delpho Peterson in charge. Mrs. Lynn Benson and Mrs. Harry Pearson accompanied by Mrs. Clinton Peterson sang "Ivory Palaces," and "Abide With Me." Rev. Hilmer Larson of Geneva assisted in the service. Casketbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Burdon Nelson, Daryl Nelson, Eugene Ahlstrom, Ronald Ahlstrom, Haldean Wishart and Keith Gunn. Burial was in the Edgar cemetery (sic).
