CeCelia was married to my 2nd Great Grandmother's brother, Frank Daily.
Mrs. Frank Daily, age 36, died at 1:15 this morning from the effects of burns received last Wednesday evening when a gasoline stone exploded at her home on South Washington Street.
The explosion occured when Mr. and Mrs. Daily were preparing their supper Wednesday. Mr Daily was standing in front of the stove and Mrs Daily behind it and the force of the explosion knocked him to the floor while the flames enveloped her. He jumped to the rescue but before the flames could be extinguished, most of her clothing had been burned off.
Mr Daily was severely burned about the arms and hands, as was Helen Mae, their daughter, who ran to the rescue.
Mrs. Daily is survived by her husband and three children, Helen Mae, Estelle, and Jackie. Four sisters, Mrs. Cora Peters, Mrs. Kate Rohrer, Mrs. Viola Hawthorne, and Mrs. Gladys Hays, all of Vincennes, Ind, arrived here last night to be at the bedside.
No definited funeral arrangements had been made early this morning.
