The Daily Record: RITTMAN -- Dale R. Steiner, 50, of Rittman, died Monday evening, May 11, 2009, at his home after an extended battle with cancer. He was born May 10, 1959, in Lodi to Robert and Betty (Gasser) Steiner, and was a graduate of Chippewa High School and attended Wayne County Schools Career Center. Dale owned and managed Steiner Excavating for more than 20 years, and loved working as an excavator. He was also a member of Rittman United Methodist Church, where he was an usher and trustee. He married Beth Holland in 1990. She survives. Services will be Friday, May 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Smithville Apostolic Christian Church, 8530 Fulton Road, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery. Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling arrangements.
