Former Resident Dies In Marietta
A message has been received in the city stating that Mrs. J. W. Alexander, sister of Mr. George Steele, of Mentor Ave., passed away Monday evening at her home in Marietta,, after a lingering illness during which time she has been a great sufferer.
Mrs. Alexander was a former resident of this city, the family home being what is now Hammarock Place. She left here almost twenty years ago.
The funeral services will be held at Marietta Wednesday and burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in this city. The body will arrive here some time Thursday or Friday morning.
