RANDLEMAN - Virginia Ida Steele Allred, 91, of Randleman, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with Pastor Jim Honeycutt officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.

Surviving are daughters, Nellie Causey of Randleman, Ann Greene of Charleston, S.C.; sons, Kenneth Allred and Gene Allred, both of Randleman, Jimmy Allred of Asheboro; 24 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday, other times at the home of Nellie Causey, Forest Park Drive, Randleman.
