Nila Anne Stebbins Durand, age 70, formerly of Lafayette, Louisiana, died Monday, September 27, 2010, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Anne Durand was born in Fairbury, Illinois to the late Arthur and Eva Isabelle Smith Stebbins. She lived in Lafayette, Louisiana for a number of years before moving to Monticello two months ago. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson, Georgia. Before retirement, Anne was a florist for the Le Fleurs Florist in Lafayette, Louisiana. Husband, Roy C. Durand preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Scott Anthony Schreck and Keith Edward Schreck, both of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dorsi Anne Burney of Monticello, and Heidi Catherine Woolridge of Farina, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at 3:00 P.M. at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home.
