Cora Lee Jennings, 85, a resident of 509 Lynchburg Road, Winchester, and a retired clerk a Russell's Department Store, died June 12 at Methodist Hospital of Middle Tennessee. She was a native of Kentucky and the daughter of the late George W. Steakley and Jennie Tate Steakley. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Goodman of Winchester; a stepdaughter, Pauline Pickett of Flintville and a stepson, John Jennings, Jr. of Flintville; one sister, Minnie Bell Tipps of Winchester; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Brother Randy Davis officiating. Interment was in Winchester Memorial Park.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Moore-Cortner Chapel for Cora Lee Jennings of Winchester, who died Friday (June 12, 1992) at Methodist Hospital in Winchester. She was 85.

Randy Davis officiated the servies, with burial in Winchester Memorial Park.

She was the daughter of the late George W. Steakley and Jennie Tate. A retired clerk of Russell's Department Store, she was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by John M. Jennings, her husband.
