DOROTHY BURKE-KELLY, 68, of BELFORD, died Friday, March 21, at home. She was a secretary for Goldman Sachs, New York City before retiring after 15 years. She lived in Belford for 12 years, and was previously from Staten Island, N.Y. where she was born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kelly, in 2005 and her parents, Edward and Helen Stasiak. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-Law, Steven and Loreen Burke of Belford; son and daughter-in-Law, James Timothy and Frances Burke of South Carolina, and son, Paul Burke of Staten Island, N.Y.; grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan, Colleen and Shannon Burke; sisters, Delores Chicola, and Helen Paneque; and a brother, Edward Stasiak.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, from the funeral home with a Funeral Liturgy to be offered at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Leonardville Rd., Middletown. Burial will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
