Helen C. Neulieb, 84, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away at 11:36 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Golden Living Center Countryside Place, La Porte, Indiana.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1001 W. Eighth St., Michigan City, with the Rev. Dennis Blaney officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City.
She was born March 22, 1931, in Michigan City, to the late Thomas and Julia (Glinsky) Stasiak. On Sept. 18, 1950, in Michigan City, she married Charles E. Neulieb, who preceded her March 2, 1992.
Surviving are four daughters, Margie (Dave) Mooneyhan of La Porte, Diana LaBonne of South Bend, Indiana, and Cindy Neulieb and Shirl (Steve) Bacztub, both of Michigan City; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, Steve Jr., Thomas, Brent, Amber, Abbey, John, Kory and Kylie; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her son-in-law, John Mooneyhan of La Porte. She also was preceded in death by her son, Charles "CJ" Neulieb; sister, Margaret Stasiak; and two brothers, Joseph Stasiak and John Stark.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and being in the sun. She was an Elvis fan and loved her cats.
