MAGAZINE — J. Willard Starling, 83, of Magazine died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, in Magazine. He was a postmaster, carpenter, cattle rancher and member of the Reveille Primitive Baptist Church.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Booneville with burial at Evans Cemetery in Magazine.

He is survived by his wife, Addie Haller Starling; two daughters, Willa Dean Wingfield of North Little Rock and Carolyn Holt of Magazine; five grandchildren, Jeff Wingfield and Ellen Binford, both of North Little Rock, Barry Wingfield of Monroe, La., Jerry Dean Holt and Paul Gene Holt, both of Magazine; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matt Binford, Lance, Matthew, Jerry and Paul Holt, Jeff and Barry Wingfield.
Jerry Willard Starling was the son of Joseph Lee Starling and Emma Lee (Donathan) Starling.
