STARK, Mrs. Clara M. Snyder
ECKHART - Mrs. Clara M. Stark, 95, died Sunday at the Cumberland Nursing Home, 11 days after the death of her husband, Henry Stark. Born here, she was the daughter of the late Aaron L. Snyder Sr. and Laura (Porter) Snyder. Mrs. Stark was a member of the Eckhart United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society. For a number of years she was a Girl Scout leader and an active member of the Eckhart PTA. Surviving are one son, John Stark, and two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Pryor and Mrs. Laura Jean Saathoff, all of Eckhart; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Tuesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. George M. Harpold. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Stark, Jonathan Stark and Jay Stark, all grandsons; Bernard Greise, Edward Tippen and William Vogtman.
