She was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Calhoun County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Husk Starcher.
June retired from the AmVets Post #34 of Parkersburg, where she worked for 38 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Spindle of Parkersburg; one son, Steven Ball (Susan) of Morgantown, W.Va.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Malone and Jean Veach, both of Parkersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ball; one son, Donald Ball; an infant brother; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ball; and a special friend, Howard Poling.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Pastor Jeff Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
