Bob was born on January 19, 1927 in Lincoln, Kansas to Harold and Marie Starbuck. He is survived by his wife Edna Katharine of 65 years, daughter, Patty Lusk and son-in-law, Ronnie; son, Ron Starbuck and daughter-in-law, Joanne; son, Harold Starbuck and daughter-in-law, Melanie; daughter, Nancy Neskar and son-in-law, Norman; siblings Dorothy Block, Katy Munson and Ken Starbuck; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Edward and Katharina Meinert; brother-in-law, Leonard Meinert; sister-in-law, Francis Bottoff and great grandson, Austin David Meek.
Bob received his Masters of Divinity from St. Paul's School of Theology in Kansas City, Missouri and PHD in Marriage and Family Counseling from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. He served as a Methodist Minister for 55 years and a Psychotherapist for 40 years. Bob was a World War II veteran and member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed life to the fullest, always seeing the best in others. Bob enjoyed riding his bicycle, exercising, reading, writing and spending time with his wife and family.
A memorial service will be held in celebration of his life on Easter Monday, April 1, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset United Methodist Church, 709 Allendale, Pasadena, TX 77502.
