Mary Alice Stapleton, 80, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born June 19, 1925 to Jose and Anna Marie (Trujillo) Gonzalez in San Marcial, NM. She is preceded in death by her sister, Inez Vallejos and a grandson. She is survived by her sons: John Stapleton and wife, Darlene of Albuquerque; and Kenny Stapleton of Socorro, NM; daughters: Gail Sarracino and husband, Michael of Artesia, NM; Lorraine Valencia and husband, Tony of Socorro; and Joanna Stapleton-Zamora of Artesia; brother, Patricio Gonzalez and wife, Fumiko of Socorro; sister, Pauline Gonzalez of Socorro; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Interment will be in the San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tony Valencia III, Eric Valencia, Jarod Stapleton, Brannon Romero, Dylan Neely, Jonathon Jones, Joshua Jones, Mike A. Sarracino and Manny Sarracino. Honorary Pallbearers are the rest of Mary's grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
