She leaves five nephews; a niece; grandnephews and grandnieces. She was born in Woonsocket, daughter of Fred E. and Carrie M. (Burlingame) Staples, and lived here 62 years.
She was a bookkeeper at Fairmount Dye Co. in Woonsocket for many years before she retired. She was a member of Slatersville Congregational Church in Slatersville, R.I.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield.
