Kimberly S. (Stanton) Carroll
Kimberly S. (Stanton) Carroll, 29, of Troxelville Road, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in Union County, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident on Old Shingle Road which also claimed the lives of her son, Joseth Stanton, and the love of her life, Randell Boyer Jr.
She was born Aug. 25, 1980, in Corning, N.Y., a daughter of Edwin J. Stanton, of Middleburg, and Lois A. Bates Stanton, of Vallejo, Calif.
Kimberly enjoyed doing crafts and photography. She also loved animals and attending races at the Selinsgrove Speedway. But the great passion of Kimberly's life was her children.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Livan Gauge Carroll, of California; her stepmother, Mary C. Stanton, of Middleburg; her mother's fiance, Tony Vaughn, of Vallejo, Calif.; paternal grandmother who was very special to Kimberly, Esther Stanton, of Painted Post, N.Y.; maternal grandparents, Orville and Beulah Bates, of Painted Post, N.Y.; two sisters, Marsha Stanton, of Middleburg, and Heather Lloyd, of Williamsport; three brothers, Justin Stanton, of Middleburg, James Wise Jr., of Beavertown, and Jeffrey Try Jr., of Kreamer; many uncles and aunts, including special aunts and uncles, Keith Stanton and his fiancee, Dinone Dillion, of Cicero, N.Y., and Candace and Gary Hart, of Painted Post; many nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Dwayne Lloyd and Logan Moyer; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James M. Stanton, and infant sister, Julie Ann Try.
Visitors may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg, where a joint funeral will be conducted for Kimberly and her son, Joseth, at 2 p.m.
Friday with the Rev. E. Denton Mallonee officiating.
Burial will follow in Hartleton Cemetery.
