Mrs. Summers Dies; Rites Set Saturday
Mrs. Blanche Stanley Summers, Town Creek route 2, died at the Coffee Memorial hospital Thursday at 12:45 after an illness of one year.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at Brown service chapel, Rev. Hugh D. Thomas of Florence, officiating.
Burial will follow in Elmwood cemetery in Town Creek.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. George E. Bullis of Memphis, Mrs. Mildred McCrory Utley of Town Creek, and Mrs. George Palmer of Florence; two granddaughters.
Bearers will be John D. McCrory, Roy McCrory, Ted Norton, Charles Puller, Jr., Gus Blythe, Robert Norton, William Norton, and Paul Gray.
She was born in Colbert county and had been a teacher for 18 years. She was a life long resident of Colbert county.
She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Stanley.
The body will be at Brown service funeral home until time for services.
Brown Service of Tuscumbia is in charge of arrangements.
