She was born March 13, 1893, in Arcadia to George W. and Amanda (Bowman) Shaffer.
She was married March 12, 1949 to George M. Stamper, who died in 1978.
Mrs. Stamper was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Arcadia. She was retired from Vonnegut Hardware.
She is survived by three nieces, Miss Mary Shaffer of Arcadia, Mrs. Tom(Martha) Hawk of New Palestine and Mrs. Clifford( Mildred) Illyes of North Aurora, Ill.
