Mrs. Rhoda Jane Altic, 76, 1354 McKinley Ave., Frankfort, died at her home Saturday morning at 10:45 o'clock, following an illness of about three weeks.

Born in Tipton on June 18, 1870, she was a daughter of Samuel and Clarinda Tucker Stamm. She was married to Edward Altic on June 9, 1889. She resided most of her life in this county. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Mulberry.

Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Claude Lewis of Lafayette and Mrs. Cleon Wainscott of this city; one sister, Mrs. Maud Lewis of here; five brothers, Frank Stamm of Flint, Michigan, Robert of Peoria, Illinois, Elmer of Indianapolis, Edward of Alabama, and John of Wyoming. There are four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

One son and two daughters preceded her in death.

Services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Hillisburg by the Rev. Herbert L. Schuckers and burial will be at Oak Hill near Kirklin.


**Bunnell Cemetery records show Rhoda Altic as being buried in plot 173 space 01 section 1943 on November 30, 1948, so the family must have changed plans in where to bury her.
