Judith A. (Stalnaker) Stewart of North Strabane Township, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 7, 2012.
She was born February 23, 1939, in Moundsville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Clyde Edwin and Essie Leola Spear Stalnaker.
Mrs. Stewart graduated from Clairton High School in 1957 and West Penn School of Nursing in 1960. She was dedicated to her nursing profession and after 41 years of service retired from Washington hospital in 2001.
Judith was an active member of Waterdam Church where she served as the Director of Garden Ministry.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 51 years John D. Stewart; two sons, Mark D. Stewart and Scott M. (Tiffanie W.) Stewart; a daughter, Cheryl S. (James G.) Halloran; two grandchildren, Matthew W. Stewart and Grace E. Halloran; and two brothers, C. Jerry Stalnaker and Rex E. Stalnaker.
