Sarah Stallone Duddy, a resident of Modesto, passed away at Valley Comfort in Modesto.
Sarah's parents were both born in Italy. They came to San Francisco in 1925. Her brothers, Nick and Joe Stallone came to Modesto in 1929; her parents, Anthony and Anna Stallone, came to Modesto in 1930 and Sarah came to Modesto in 1935. They lived in the Wood Colony Community on North Avenue. Her sister, Mary Bobas remained in San Francisco. Aunt Sarah is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Sarah was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
After coming to Modesto, she owned and operated the Duddy Real Estate for 25 years.
Sarah was a member of the Unity Church, the Modesto Emblem Club, the Modesto Camera Club, the World Travel Club of the Stanislaus County Library.
Her hobbies included dancing, cooking, animals, aerobics, reading, and caring for children and the elderly. She was a joyful person to know and spread sunshine wherever she went.
Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 4; 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel with service to be held Tues., Dec. 5; 11:00 a.m., at the chapel.
Interment, Acacia Memorial Park.
