Mrs. Emmaline Allgood, widow of James Allgood, died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Koessler in Bainbridge. She was 87 years old.
Mrs. Allgood was born in Douglas county, Illinois, and spent most of her life in the Bainbridge community where she was a member of the Christian Union church.
Preceding her in death were the husband, James; a son, Roy, and two daughters, Nellie and Mary.
Besides the daughter in whose home she died, survivors are three sons, Clay of Lafayette, Frank of Roachdale and Ray of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Sands Funeral home in Bainbridge with Rev. Ray Brittin officiating, Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Bainbridge cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday.
