MARY ANN STAFFORD BANKSTON, age 61
and a resident of Franklinton died at 10:25 AM Sunday, Nov. 13 at her residence.
She was a retired human resourses analyst with the state Dept. of Social Services and also worked for several years as a clerk with the Washington Parish Health Unit where she was always known as a kind-hearted person who was loved and respected by her co-workers. Mary was like a second mom to all of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed vacationing in the mountains, fishing and spending time with her many pets. She was a member of Pine First Baptist Church.
Survived by: Husband: James Loyd Bankston of Franklinton 4 Brothers: John and Joyce Stafford of Walker's Bridge, MS James Stafford of Talisheek Loyd and Nancy Stafford of Stateline Tim and Sheila Stafford of Pine 1 Sister: Linda and Ronnie Hartzog of Thomas Numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl B. and Dixie Creel Stafford.
Visitation at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM Tuesday and after 9 AM Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don McDaniel and Rev. Joseph Ladner officiating.
Burial will be in the Stoney Point Church Cemetery.
