She was married to Steward Ward, Matt Stacy, and Stuart Crawford Campbell. She survived all three husbands.
She had 5 children: Lois Kathleen Ward ( died as an Infant), Stanford Leon Ward 4/28/40 thru 10/10/96, Dorothy Helen Ward Christian born May 1943 married Gifford Christian, Clyde Ward-2/7/38 thru Aug 2004 and Roger Lee Stacy born 4/28/1946.
She was a participant of the reenactment of the Civil War era and was a member of the Regular Primitive Baptist Church in Hobbs Branch in Grundy, Buchanan Co., VA
