#Edythe Patricia Clements, 92, of Walla Walla, Washington passed away on February 22, 2013, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. She was born on August 27, 1920 in Holmes, Pennsylvania.

#She grew up in New Jersey, and entered the Coast Guard during WWII. Edythe was stationed in Portland, Oregon, where she met her husband, Darrell Clements. They married in

#Vancouver, Washington in 1944.

#In 1948 they moved to Walla Walla where they raised their family. Edythe operated The Barn Antiques on Fern Street with her friend Eloise Hilbourne during the 1960s.

#In 1972 she and Darrell retired to Priest Lake, Idaho, where they built their own home and enjoyed the outdoors

#for 25 years.

#She and Darrell moved back to Walla Walla where he passed away in 2002.

#Edythe enjoyed planting and tending to her flower gardens.

#In recent years the highlight of her week was lunch with the Ladies. She was welcomed into the group who met every Saturday for lunch and conversation.

#Edythe is survived by her daughters, Diane Baird (Allen)

#of Walla Walla; Barb Stutz (Bob) of Priest Lake, ID; sons, Dan of Walla Walla; and Tom of Priest River, ID; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

#She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell

#Clements and grandson Zach Stutz.
