Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Bell, Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Al F. (Mildred) Pfannenstiel, Great Bend; three sons, Benno F., Virgil J. and Francis C. Staab., all of Hays; and 13 grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, John, William, Anton and Fidelis Schmeidler, all of Hays; and one sister, Mrs. Angela Vogl, Ft. Lupton, Colo.
The body will lie in state at Brock's North Hill Chapel until service time 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Catherine's Church, Catherine. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
