Sandra Ann (St. John) Anderson, 65, of Dyersburg, peacefully passed away at her residence January 24, 2015.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter-in-law and dear friend. She was a blessing to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
A 1967 honor graduate from Dyersburg High School. She retired, after 30 plus years, as a Materials and Components Purchaser with ERMCO.
Sandra was a faithful member of Phillips Street Church of Christ and a longtime supporter of Potter Children's Home in Bowling Green, KY. She especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her grandchildren. Along with her many animals, she cherished cooking, gardening, singing, and writing poetry.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Brewer and Mr. Edgar Shults, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jimmie V. Anderson of Dyersburg; two sons, Paul L. Anderson and wife, Valarie, two grandchildren Madalynn and Ethan of Medina and Mark W. Anderson and wife, Kym, two grandchildren Taylor and Sarah of Dyersburg; and a host of adored nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter McClellan and Irma Evelyn St. John; a brother, Larry W. St. John; and a sister, Sherry N. (Kilzer) Presswood.
Pallbearers will be Brodie Cupples, Patrick Cupples, Rob Enochs, Doug Medlin, Mike McLaughlin, and Larry Spiess.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be sent to Potter Children's Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
