Eldora H. Sprowls, 77, of Daisytown R.D.1, died this morning at 3:45 in Washington Hospital.
She was born Aug 19, 1894, in West Pike Run Twp., a daughter of the late Wilbur and Theressa Hill Deems.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Bentleyville, and its women's Sunday School class and of the West Pike Run Grange 1928 and the state and national Grange.
She and her husband, Shirley M. Sprowls, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan 9, 1968.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Eugene and James W., both of Coal Center R.D.1; three grandchildren, Laurie, Curtis and Lynne; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Smiley and Annetta Baker, and a brother, Russell Deems.
