Sallie was the wife of James Boyd Ingle. Her date of birth is from the 1900 census. No date of birth was on her death certificate.

Although her death certificate states that she was the daughter of John Sprinkle & Betty Clifton, we cannot identify such a couple. The informant may have been confused. We believe Sallie was the daughter of Napoleon Bonaparte Sprinkle & Dollie Jane Greenlee. If you have information on Sallie's parentage, please let us know.

Sallie & James had at least 10 children: Sarah J. (Kibert); Thomas; Maggie (Marlow); Ollie; Nannie; Ella (Herrell); Lannie; Nora (Brashear); & Lillie.
