FLORENCE BELLE CASSADY 91, formerly of 430 Walton Avc., died at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday April 30 1980,in Catfish Manor Nursing home,Hollidaysburg,following and extended illness.Mrs Cassady retired as a sales clerk fromGables Department store in 1961,after 18 years of service.She was born in Altoona the daughter of Charles E and Mary A (Bunn)Springer and on Feb 1909 in Altoona Married John Westley Cassady who died May 25,1943.Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Mildred I Milburn,of North Collins NY and Mrs Vera Hopkins of Duncansville,two grand children several Great Grand children and two brothers Roy C and Kenneth S of Altoona. Mrs Cassady was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church and Branches of the Vine SDunday school Class.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Pm.Friday in the Daniel R Myers Funeral Home.

Cassidy-Services for Mrs Florence Belle Cassady formerly of 430 Walton Avenue will be held at 10AM Saturday in the Daniel R Myers Funeral Home by the Rev Carl Alexy.Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday in the funeral home.
