Charles Edward Sprague, 75, a former Battle Creek resident was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Following continued ill health, Mr. Sprague ended his life last Saturday at his home in Kenosha, Wid., where he had lived for the last 33 years. He was born May 18, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Sprague. His body was brought here by the Mischler Funeral Co., of Kenosha. In his early year, Mr. Sprague worked as a brakeman for the old Grand Haven Railroad and after going to Kenosha was engaged in commercial fishing and operation of a tugboat. He was last employed as an engineer at the Kenosha Hospital. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Olk, to whom he was married in June, 1924; two stepsons and a stepdaughter.
