He was born Oct. 22, 1927, in Hackett to the late Earl and Lela Spradley.
He was a fireman for the city of Fort Smith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Spradley; two sons, Larry Spradley and wife P.J. of Howe and Randy Spradley and wife Rhonda Woolsey of Fort Smith; a sister, Ann Ramsey of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Heather Sullivan, Cara Spradley, Matt Spradley, Andrew Spradley and David Spradley; and three great-grandchildren, Allie Sullivan, Emelia and Benjamin Spradley.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Chapel in Van Buren with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Derrick, Jim Kolp, Jim Hicks, Quinton Waldo, Bill Vickery, Bob Caperton, Guy Ramsey and Travis Robertson.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult 6 Men's Class at First Baptist Church.
