Jean Perlingiere Crocker, 75 of Fort Smith, passed away December 12, 2011 in Dallas, TX.
She was born August 5, 1936 in Van Buren, AR to Roy and Mae Betterton Spoon.
She was co-owner of Mayer and Merchants Collection Agency and was Patient Accounts Managers at Sparks Regional Medical Center. She retired as Business Office Manager for Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, and she was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church of Fort Smith. Jean was a Notary Public for most of her professional career, was a past member of St. Edward and Sparks Auxiliary Guild, and was a volunteer for the Children's Emergency Shelter, Juvenile Detention Center, and many other organizations to serve others.
She was preceded in death by parents, and her older sister; Billie Mae Garnand. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children; Lucien Perlingiere.
She is survived by her children; Blake Perlingiere of Ozark, Debra Perlingiere Presson of Fort Smith, and Tina Pinter and her husband Tim, of Little Rock. her grandchildren; Zackery Eubanks of Fort Smith and Robert and Rachel Pinter of Little Rock, her step-sons; Alan Perlingiere and his wife Cathy, of Owasso, OK, James Perlingiere and his wife Julie, of Owasso, OK, and their children; Angela Gleason, James and Danielle Perlingiere, Tom Perlingiere and his wife Lucia of San Paolo, Brazil, and their children, Christian and Juliana Perlingiere. She is also survived by her sisters; Christine Foley and her husband Robert of Van Buren, Carol Estep of Fort Smith, and Joy Rye and her husband Rick, of Allen, TX and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2011 at First Lutheran Church under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jon Fritchey, Robert Foley, Ronnie Cash, Tim Randolph, Rick Rye, and Mike Watts.
Honorary Pallbearer will be; Brian Sparkman.
