Dorothy Hussey
CAREY -- Dorothy Valora Hussey, 72, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan 27, 1996, in the Hancock County Home, Findlay. She formerly resided at 107 Dow St., Carey.
Born in Tymochtee on March 23, 1923, she was a daughter of Charles and Dortha (Kemmerly) Spitler. On Aug 9, 1945, she married Robert Hussey in Westerville. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Mrs. James (Sandra) Ulrich, Petersburg, Mich.; Steven and Rick, both of Carey; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a daughter, Kyle; two brothers, Armour and Robert Spitler; and a sister, Waunita Riedlinger.
Mrs. Hussey was a homemaker and a member of Carey Garden Club, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Carey and its the Ruth Circle.
The Revs. Paul DeMoss and Linda Zaye will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Beach Funeral Home, Carey. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
Visitation is until 4 this afternoon and from 7-9 this evening in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bridge Hospice of Hancock County, Hancock County Colonial Care or charity of the donor's choice.
