Mrs. Anna Sperb, wife of J. J. Sperb, died at her home in this city, April 12. Deceased was a native of Wisconsin, born February 19, 1865 and moved from there to South Dakota in 1877 and from there to Portland in April, 1913. She had been a resident of Woodburn for about a year and with her family lived on the old Sylvester place. There survive her a husband, two sons, Frank and John, two sisters and four brothers in the East, one sister, Mrs. C. E. Lock, having arrived recently from South Dakota to join her husband here, where they will make their future home. The funeral was yesterday, services being held at the St. Luke's Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. O'Farrell officiating. Interment was at the Catholic cemetery.
