Patricia Gallup (1932 - 2010)

Patricia Gallup, a native of Kansas City, MO, was born Patricia Ann Spensley on June 15, 1932. She married Pete Gallup of Omaha, NE in 1952, and together they embarked on a career life with the US Navy. Military travel took them to all corners of the US and Europe until they finally settled in Pensacola in 1986. In Pensacola Patty was very active in the art community. She pursued her passion for watercolor painting and became a member of the Quayside Art Gallery where her works were displayed for many years.
After 52 years of marriage she was preceded in death by her husband in 2004. She remained in Pensacola until her death Sept. 30, 2010.
She is survived by her three children, Dr. Shelley Gallup of Monterey, CA, Kevin Gallup currently of Pensacola, and Susan Webb of Yorktown, VA. In addition, Patty is survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Her committal service and columbarium inurnment with her husband Pete is scheduled for October 6, 2010 at 11:45am at Barrancas National Cemetery.
