Aileene Branstutter, 79, of Amarillo died Saturday, May 3, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Dr. Howard Batson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Branstutter was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Wolfe County, Ky., to Willie and Grace Collingsworth Spencer. She married George Branstutter in 1966 in Kentucky. She was a self-employed hairdresser until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997.
Survivors include four sons, Spence Wood of Golden, Colo., Ron Wood of Lubbock, Paul Thomas of Friendswood and Jack Thomas of Amarillo; two daughters, Quilla Dondlinger of Amarillo and Sheila Campsey of Fritch; four sisters, Betty Miller and Billie Reagan, both of Portales, N.M., and Ruth Hensley of Porterville, Calif., and Jewel Perez of Encino, N.M.; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
