O. Carolee McKinley, age 81, of Orient, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011. She was born in Milan, Missouri on November 29, 1929 to the late William Leonard and Mollie Viana (Stinson) Spencer. Carolee retired from Rickenbacker after many years of service. She was a longtime member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 27 years, Billie Scott; siblings, Arlene Holtet, Jessie Neely, and Earl Spencer. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Harry McKinley; and children, Arvetta Scott, Jef (Lori) Scott, and Spencer Scott; step-children, Julie McKinley, and Jeffrey (Gail) McKinley; grandchildren, Tonia (Matt) Robertson, Katrina (Steve) Schmidjell, Tiffany (James) Fantine, Lisa Scott, Jennifer (Jason) Lee, Jeffry Roberts, Teresa (Frank) Lacavera, Jason Scott, Nathaniel Scott, and Brooke McKinley; siblings, Vondell Koger, Billy (Marion) Spencer, Betty Hatcher, Mary Alice Williams; many great and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Carolee enjoyed traveling and reading Christian novels. At one time she and Harry also enjoyed square dancing.
