Have copy of death certificate - aged 31 years. Cause of death - influenza, pneumonia, septicemia, acute myocarditis.

Last address was 1515 Bankhead Avenue, N.W., Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. His wife gave information for his death certificate, but signed it as Mrs. Frank Speer

Speer was a heavyweight wrestler who also promoted wrestling matches in the Atlanta area. He was a member of Georgia Tech 1928 championship team, being named All-American tackle that year. Speer died from bronchial pneumonia.
