Jack Spector was one of the original WMCA Good Guys in NYC. "Your Main Man Jake" collapsed while on the air at WHLI in Garden City NY. He passed away later that day on 3.8.94. Jack worked at CBS-FM, WHN, WPIX/WQCD and had his own Eyeglass Business. He was married for 38 years to wife Marilyn and had 3 daughters, Cheri, Nancy (twins) and Laurie. At the time of his death Jack had one Grandson named Ricky. Since that time Nancy had twin girls, one of whom is named in Jacks memory..Jacqueline! Daughter Cheri was the inspiration for Jack's friend in the record business to name the Four Seasons hit "Sherry". Jack said why name the song Terry"? Call it Cheri" ok. The rest is history. Jack was also a US Army Sergeant and Veteran. His thousands of Fans miss him beyond words could say!

Jack, just listening to WCBS-FM 40th anniversary weekend and missing you. You were wonderful band I loved listening to you. Both of our fathers worked for Ned Harvey at the Town & Country Nightclub in Brooklyn. Rest In Peace.
