Adam Specht, well known Lodi district resident of more than one-quarter of a century, passed away early yesterday morning at his home following a heart attack. He was 61 years of age.
Mr. Specht, who resided at 224 E. Tokay st., was a retired carpenter. He had however, remained active, and was one of the contractors who recently completed demolition of Emerson School.
A native of Russia, he had made his home in Lodi for 29 years. He formerly resided and worked in the Fresno area, where he leaves many friends.
Mr. Specht attended the Ebenezer Congregational Church.
The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Specht, Lodi; a son, John Pete Specht, Stockton; and three daughters.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
